Meat Trading

Our trading group works with importers and exporters in over 70 countries worldwide to supply our products to meat processors, wholesalers, food service distributors and retailers. We trade all the major meat proteins including pork, beef and poultry. 

Our goal is to provide our suppliers and customers with an exceptional level of service. This includes confirmation and delivery of consistent specifications, timely shipment and delivery of goods and special attention to managing our valued business relationships. Our commitment to exceptional service has earned us a reputation as a stable and reliable trading partner recognized for operating at the highest level of integrity. 

Our domestic meat trading department imports a full range of meat proteins including pork, beef and lamb that are sold to processors, wholesalers and food service distributors across Canada and the United States. We work with suppliers throughout North America as well as foreign suppliers from Uruguay, Australia and New Zealand. 

We have direct links to fisheries around the world. Combined with our logistics experience, we are able to bring our Canadian customers a large assortment of species with a fast-to-market supply chain for optimum freshness. We source farmed and wild-caught varieties such as:

- Salmon (Atlantic, Steelhead, Arctic Char, Sockeye, Pink)

- Whole Fish, Loins, Portions and Fillets (Barramundi, Corvina, Halibut, Swordfish, Cod, Mahi Mahi, Ling Cod, Monk Fish, Marlin, Sea Bass, European Sea Bass, Snapper, Sword Fish, Tuna, Turbot and European Sea Bream)

- Freshwater (Lake Trout, Pickerel, Whitefish, Yellow Perch)

- Other (Scallops, Clams, Pasteurized Crab Meat

We are working with federally registered seafood processors and ensure the safety of our products through quality assurance programs such as our HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) plan, QMP (Quality Management Program) and certified third-party audits.
